I really like how the current system is implemented, but I think it has a major flaw.
Especially in Age of innovation I keep matching up with new accounts with very few games played, since I assume they've been invited to play by alpha testers that fit the criteria to be an alpha tester.
Problem is that a lot of these players are quitters and I think I've had more abandoned matches than completed ones. Quitters are always these new accounts.
I understand some of them may be because of bugs, but it seems unlikely.
I suggest keeping the current system, but there needs to be some criteria applied to invited alpha testers. Maybe 100% karma and at least like 30 games played or something.
