Why is Hand and Foot Defaulting to Friendly Mode?

All Hand and Foot games I start all default to friendly mode. Anyone know what I changed? I select Normal mode and next time I'm back to friendly. How do I change this default? I've looked and looked and am still missing it. Thanks.
