A suggestion of incentive for premium account

Up to now, I did not see so many advantages of having a premium account regarding the time I play here per day.

BUT

there could be an incentive that may me change my mind.

I play regularly turn based games, and I dont like the fact that a game starts as soon as the table is full. For some reasons I would like to have the opportunity to choose my partners when i open a table, so I would appreciate to have time selecting players and reject those I dont want to play with.

Dont tell me about red thumbs or karma, they dont meet the criteria I would like to select my partner with.

So a feature for premium account owners that would allow to trigger turn based games when I want to may be interesting, as far as i am concerned.

Well, there are so many players for so many games on BGA. It is impossible to know who likes the games I want to play.

As a premium member this would make me less likely to join games made by other premium members and just create a table myself.
I am not interested in waiting for the table to fill and then finding out I didn't make the cut due to some arbitrary reasons by the table creator that I could not have known about in advance.

A proposal for more filters based on the criteria you are using would be more useful for everyone involved.

Well, you have tens of thousands players, it will take infinity time until i get rid of all troublemakers. Before I red thumbs all of them, there will be dozens of games during which i will have to suffer them.

I just have a very very painful experience yesterday, and I am still mad about it. I dont want this to happen again and i need the tools thus for

My first criteria is : I dont want to have players with hundreds of turn based games running because they often play bad (especially for games that require much reflexion and strategy) which drives me nuts when playing in team with them. Plus their turns often lag for days

I asked for such a filter once, and it was angrily discarded. That's why i would like to have the opportunity to ban such players from MY tables. I would happily pay the premium fee for that

People told you then that just because a person plays many games does not mean they don't play in a timely manner or with poor strategy. It's an arbitrary criteria and probably wouldn't help you even if it was available.

Additionally, the idea was not "discarded", people on the forums (who are mostly NOT BGA staff) told you what they thought of it. BGA didn't make a ruling one way or the other, and your suggestion is still sitting open (albeit with not many votes) - https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=97075. It has just as much chance of being implemented as any of the other bugs/suggestions on the queue (well, a little less, again, because not many others have agreed with it).

Which game are you referring to? The only games you have that are older than two weeks is one of Catan, and one of The Crew (which is a campaign, and obviously going to take longer than a normal game). None of the players at either of those tables have "hundreds of games" running.

I hear on on the frustration of having opponents who play poorly. I've recently started playing Evolution and more than once have seen a player create a carnivore with body size of 1 (meaning it cannot eat and is certain to starve to death), I've even seen the same player do it twice in the same game. However, you can limit by ELO rating which should handle this.

Plus their turns often lag for days

And you can also limit games to faster turn speeds.

The existing filters already cover this.
