How to play against friends?

Hey guys...I entered on a 3 player Catan game...suddenly I realized that I was playing against 2 friends. They stole me and traded with each other through all the game. What do you do in these cases? Is there any way to still have fun in these scenarios?

ahaha, i used to play with my husband and we would have big fights over this:)) i stopped playing with him cause it s too hard:)) we are playing just in real life together but even there we fight sometimes. we are both very competitive. i would say do not play with them online.
