Restart turn option?

Is restart turn a new update?

Can we remove this feature before the game starts? It doesn't make any sense since you can't do this in person and kinda ruins the game for me. Even worse, it's super buggy and causes my screen to crash. Other people have also commmented about screen glitches happening due to this restart turn feature.

Please make an option to remove this, the game was good as it was and this feature is making the game worse.

Totally agree. Also they have removed the special sound for the robber? I think the new update just made everything worse in general.

I don't like and don't understand new version. There is a mess on the board for me... I want my old Catan

Restart turn is used to ... restart turn.
This is just a button in the top bar; If you don't want to use it, don't click it.

It doesn't allow to go back before a revealing information was done (like a trade)

If a game was started with the old version, the button doesn't work.

I like the new additions. The restart and re-roll of 7s is exactly like our home game rules, which is nice for me and also helps when you accidentally touch the screen and build something you didn’t intend.

Never heard of reroll 7s, but I play friendly robber, so it might be a bit better to start.

I have accidentally pressed buttons and wished I could restart my turn. In the real game, I am playing with friends, and I often can tell them that I accidentally did something. They would, more often than not, let me do what I intended to do. I agree that arena and tournaments should not have it.

I understand both sides of the argument regarding the restart turn feature. While it can be helpful for those who play with home rules or accidentally make a move, it does seem to disrupt the flow and integrity of the game for others. Especially with the reported bugs and screen crashes, it seems like an option to disable it would be a fair compromise. Maybe keeping it in casual play but removing it from competitive matches could be a solution. Also, I miss the special sound for the robber too! It added a unique touch to the game.

I couldn't agree more. The charm of board games is learning from your moves, and restart turn disrupts that flow. The bugs are a big concern too. I hope the developers consider making this feature optional.
