I think you are saying this: on your final turn, you had five birds in grasslands, and you took the "lay eggs" action, discarding one food token to lay a total of five eggs. But then the game ended tied on points, and the food token you discarded was still counted for the tiebreaker. That's interesting. As bergerOUS said, please do provide the table number / URL.
