Does anyone know how to use the first shield? Is it a bug or what? I can not activate the 2 Vikings shield.

Hi! Not sure whether this is the issue or not, but you might be trying to click on the shield at the wrong point in your turn. Unlike the other two shields, the "place a second Viking" shield can only be activated after you've placed your first Viking of that turn.
