And a 10 second warning before your timer reaches 0:00 (at least in some real-time settings, the time may be longer or shorter in other settings). There's also a button/canned phrase for "I need a little more time for thinking", which you can use (and then get mad when you opponents don't give you that extra time).

And your turn bank is visible the entire time. When your turn bank is down to 30 seconds that is warning that in 30 seconds someone might eject you from the game.

Above translated to: "The 20 seconds alert has absolutely nothing to do with what I am proposing. It's just an autoboot delayed by 20 seconds but activated by the players."

What do you want then? The player puts a message in chat advising that they're going to boot you? You can see that you are running out of time or over time, why not take the initiative and apologise for running over time (if you have) and/or explain your reasons if they are legitimate? Yes, you can argue it may be a courteous thing to do to state your intentions to boot in chat before doing so, but one could also argue that running over the agreed time for a game without explanation is also discourteous. Additionally, you are agreeing to a particular time contract when you choose to play a game. Whether or not you choose to enforce that contract, it is fair and within the rules for the other player to enforce it. You are free to be unhappy about that, but it doesn't mean the player was unfair. You can choose not to play with that player again (red thumb them). I have on occasion done exactly that.

You keep suggesting things that will apparently fix the problem, but without clearly explaining what you want.

I am not arguing that your suggestions are not worthy, though I do question how helpful they would really be, but that may be because I don't understand what you are wanting. I can't see how adding optional auto-booting (that it sounds like you would not play with?) helps you, especially if player-initiated booting would still exist but (I think you're saying) people playing with player-initiated booting should adhere to some kind of courtesy standard that suits you (eg. not booting too quickly, putting messages in the chat to warn, etc.). You cannot force others to abide by your courtesy standards - fortunately, you can red thumb those who you think don't play the way you want to play.

In any case, either find the relevant suggestion to vote on (such as in the case for auto-booting) or raise one yourself and see how many do agree with you. Post a link to it in this thread and encourage others to vote on it if they agree. I don't agree with all the ways BGA is run either and have argued against decisions or policies I don't like and raised or voted on appropriate suggestions. People have also suggested ways to avoid being booted if it bothers you (eg. choose longer turn times).

Oh no you didn't quote his entire post. Watch him ignore every argument you made by saying "non non non you need to quote everything I said, otherwise all your well thought out arguments are worthless" as his only response.

Ok, le troll, on a compris, c'est bon. Stop.

Oh, I know, I've seen that. They can claim misconstrued context if they want, but anyone can go back and look to see if that's actually happening, and honestly, I can't say I've seen any so far, whatever complaints have been made.
