Can you see the top-ELO players for a game?

Post by Cos- »

Recently BGA notified me that I got the "Top 20 ELO" badge for a game, which according to the explanation means I'm one of the top 20 players of that game on BGA by ELO. This made me curious, could I see that list - who are the players, and what are their ELOs? Not just top 20, it would be interesting to see the ELO distribution below that too.

I think that when I go to the game's page and it shows "rankings", those are Arena rankings. I don't play Arena, I'm not ranked there. I assume some of the other players with the highest ELOs on this game also don't play Arena. So Arena rankings aren't what I'm looking for.

You're in the right place.

Where you can see arena rankings, in the top right of that box it says "current season." Click that and change to "all time."

But "all time" means only those who have played at least one game during the last couple of months. It's a pretty restricted definition of "all time", in my opinion :D

Oh, thanks. That's really misleading, those are two completely different kinds of rankings. But you're right, if I change it from "current season" to "all time" it stops showing arena rankings and shows ELO instead.

With the caveat that Jellby mentioned.
