Being blocked
Be cautious because the definition of being blocked has changed multiple times !
In the 2024 version, you are blocked simply if you cannot move for whatever reason.
(And your car might get removed from the race if you cannot move a single space because of damage to your car)
But in previous versions of the rules, you could also declare yourself blocked, if, because of other cars, the only legal moves where causing an immediate LOC. (The wording is precise and important)

Shortcuts
Valid spaces to enter shortcuts from and valid exit points for shortcuts.
See: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/296053 ... cut-detail

Outer lane and corner just ahead is closed because of multiple sprays of dirt
In this situation, you have no legal move as per the normal rules: you cannot enter the shortcut and you cannot enter the corner.
Designer ruled that in this exceptional situation it is the rule about lanes that should bend so you can, exceptionally, enter the shortcut from the outer lane.

Overtaking the leader and leader dice timing
If you overtake the leader, you'll have to play with the Orange Leader dice instead of the White Coast dice.
The change of dice is however not immediate, it happens at the start of next round (assuming you are still leading at that time).
This is a change from a previous version of the game.

Who goes first if two cars are on same space at same speed and there is no corner left

In short, it's unclear...
But I would like to know what is implemented.
And yes, it can happen and it can matter (see linked bgk thread)

229B is this one or two corners ?
https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/331909 ... -questions
If there is a line that goes through a corner in its entirety as in tile 229B (the only tile that does that so far I think), then the two parts of the corner can be handled in a different manner. You can drift in one part but not in the other (affects tracks R6 SS1 and R6 SS3).
This is pretty much the same situation as an example page 11 of the synapse French rules.

Are 231A and 231B considered corners ?
https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/331909 ... -questions
They are not.
Not verified in the implementation. (Requires some quite specific situation to be able to test)
-------------------------
Water crossing
You can play any dice to enter the water.
But if the die you play is not a coast (orange/white) and you are not in speed 1 then your move ends on the water and you cannot play any further die. See also https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/332306 ... -going-loc and how it is currently implemented https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=128388

This means that you cannot place the die that would cause such a jump. You may not land in spaces occupied by obstacles. If a jump would force you to land on an obstacle or other car, you may not perform the Jump.
