You disagree with me? I just quoted what BGA says when you attempt to report a player. So you disagree with BGA or with someone else.

Yes I disagreed with both you you + BGA claiming that if cheating doesn't fit into any of their existing categories of cheating, then it can't possibly be cheating. And I gave you a specific example.

Most of the ways players can cheat at board games irl are not possible on BGA (fudging dice, moving pieces illegally, card tricks, etc...). The only ways to cheat here (kingmaking and using multiple accounts) are options you can pick when reporting a player.

Kingmaking isnt reportable. There are also ways in which you can only cheat online like exploiting bugs and private messaging ppl.

Cheating IS against the terms of use.

And what is defined as cheating in the terms of use? There are several things that I would consider cheating that you can do nothing about according to the moderation policy.

It only affects your game if you let it. If you see it for what it is, just ignore it. If it’s reportable, when the games finished report it.

I'm unable to understand what you are discussing because it bears no relationship of any sort to the remark it was responding to.
It also makes no internal sense, if someone was using the chat to make insults report it, that is probably the most straightforward of issues and one BGA clearly takes seriously. There is no issue to discuss, just report it.

When smci refers to walking the boundary I’m guessing he’s referring to people saying things without saying them. Calling someone a trash player is reportable so instead some players will say something like “that was a great move you just did” “ or “you’re a phenomenal player” to someone who is clearly playing poorly. “Obvious” sarcasm is listed as a level 1 offense but I have no idea how bga is possibly judging such comments.
