Creating Wingspan Games

I am not a Premium member.

I have been playing Wingspan for a little over a month.
When creating a game on wingspan, I now can only create games for 2 people. I used to be able to create for 3.
I can't find any button or anything to click on that allows me to change the number or players.

Have I run into a limit after a certain amount of time not being a premium member or am I missing something?

Maybe you're on Arena mode so settings are fixed? If yes, come back to simple game.

I had this too - I selected to play the game in "normal" mode, but it only selected the first person on invite list and made an arena game.

Yes, you are right. It looks like I am in arena mode. On the wingspan page it shows an area dropdown and is showing an area rating for me. I don't now how I got into that.

I went out to the main game page and selected simple mode, but when I then went to Wingspan, it showed arena mode.

Can't seem to find a way out of arena mode.

I'll try logging off and logging back in.

Go the the tab tabled "Play Now," either at the top of the page on a desktop/mobile, or in the upper left hamburger menu on a mobile device. If you see something labeled "Arena," change it to "Simple game."

Every time I see one of these posts, I am reminded about how they said the new interface would be more intuitive for new players....

You can change it on the game page - as you say, there is a dropdown which says Arena, change it back to Play instead. Or, as also mentioned, you can change it on the Play Now page (from Arena to Simple) and start any games you want from there (not just Wingspan). But changing the setting on the Play Now page won't affect the setting on the game page for any game, they're separate.
