My request was meant to make the settings I posted the arena defaults to mimic the wsbg as possible. That is possible now. Not exact, but makes competitive play and rankings similar to wsbg
It's not possible, because the big difference, ie. the draft is not implemented on BGA. When/if it's implemented, it's pretty much certain to win the vote for the next Arena season, but we can't vote for something that doesn't exist, and given next Arena season begins in a week, it's not possible to put it up for a vote for next Arena season, so the only chance of it happening on Arena anytime soon is if both this draft gets implemented on BGA, and they are willing to change Arena mid-season like they did for Pro Legends and Aggressive Legends, but I don't know how likely that is.
I would also strongly resist any move to disable weather, as to me that's just making the gameplay worse and less competitive.

Most of these are already possible. The draft is already asked for, hopefully it will be here at some point, but given they've got to programme it after being the given green light, I wouldn't expect it imminently.
The rest of the stuff is so vague, that I don't even know what it means when they refer to actions that cannot be legally resolved. I mean technically you can't even taken an action on BGA that can't be legally resolved in the first place, but it depends what they're referring to.
They give the example of shifting too many gears (2 without having heat), so I guess you could throw in, shifting 3 gears, playing 5 cards, playing wrong cards for the gear etc - which BGA stops you from doing.
Not sure why they'd get rid of the weather though - any ideas?
That's kind of my interpretation of what they mean too, but if I was playing (I'm not) I would want clarification under what rules they are playing "can't pay a heat" under, because technically it's not an illegal play, it's in the rulebook, but then they are inventing penalties/rules that aren't in the rulebook too.
The only reason I can think of they are not playing with weather is they deem to it too fiddly to set the exact same weather for each table. I don't like it, removing weather is making the game less skill-based and more luck-based, giving less opportunity to make moves, and making it even harder to beat someone who got stacked from the draft. Which is why I would never support it for Arena, and seems a strange choice for a competitive event.
