Ticket to ride Europe time to think at a move

Post by Healing_Touch »

Until today it was 2 minutes. It wasn't too good but not too bad also. Some players waited 2 minutes after that moved several times fast and it was up to 2 minutes again and then you needed to wait again. It was annoying but not like now. Not that time was increased to 3 minutes. And players abuse it. Normally a move to draw cards takes less than 1 second and they wait 1 minutes or more for that because they have 3 minutes in total and they can gain more seconds when moving fast. You can play a game in 30 minutes it is frustrating, hopefull they will change the time back to 2 minutes at most. What is your opinion ?

Pay attention to the game speed of the tables you are joining:

Real-time slow speed : +32s a turn, max 2:36
Normal speed: +20s a turn, max 2:00
Fast Paced: +13s a turn, max 1:39

How do they abuse it? If they run into negative time, you can expel them. If they don't, they did nothing wrong.

You may think they're intentionally wasting time just to annoy you, but maybe they chose that particular time setting because they know that they may have to use that much time at least in some turns (phone calls, kids, cooking, tunnels...).
