Perhaps the Wall with friend and group activity can get added to the community tab, then said tab could be a suitable alternative

Not a fan. This might be what finally gets me to stop spending so much time on BGA.

After a bad unusefull tables list, we have a bad unusefull home page..... :(
In the 2 cases, something that was nearly good to be quick to load and use that was replaced by an advertising page with a lot informations not usefull to be showed there.
The added informations should be shown in another page and so not there. Links were enough...

For me, that was the most useful feature of the old home page; all the announcents from my groups were very visible.
You mean the Newsfeed? It is there, but a bit small (with only the last 2 news being displayed). But there are 2 triangular buttons which you can use to expand the newsfeed to the number you want (and it is saved).

Can you please bring the news feed back to a more usable form? It was the most useful part of the main page, and crucial for developers like me to communicate with players.

Unfortunately it has feature regressions now, like being unable to see more than a few posts, even expanded.

If you are interested in saving bandwidth and server resources, you may wish to know that it typically takes 2 page loads for me now since I have to click each news item because I can't read it all or see any replies.

"Hall of fame", at the end of the Home page is not usefull, the information is available up in "Your experience"
Very often the players before and after us in "Hall of fame" are unknown of us... so, no interest...

I try not to be a person who comes to complain after a website update, I try to give things a chance, but I can't this time. As a neurodivergent person, this redesign is extremely overstimulating and overwhelming. Where the latest article/release and the last 3 used to be separated before, now they all overlap. There are so many LARGE and BRIGHT competing colors, my eyes don't know where to focus. The information I would go to the home page for (newsfeed) is all but hidden underneath dozens of games links I will never click on, and is not even scrollable since the little arrow button shows ONE more post? What's even the point of that? The other feature I would use is the quick view at upcoming tournaments, but now that just shows me the ones I'm registered for and not ones that are starting soon that I might be inspired to hop into.

You say you want better readability and accessibility for all, but this is a step in the opposite direction. This new homepage is not readable and CERTAINLY not accessible for people like me.

I'm extremely concerned if this is how you "envision shaping BGA's future interface"

Again, I try not to be a negative person and I appreciate the hard word that was put into this redesign, but please listen to what people are saying about the features they value. Ask yourself why people visit the homepage - I understand the core of the business is driving people to new games, but this design is making me less likely to want to see these new games because of how difficult the page is to navigate.

I just want to say I sympathize. I am also neuro-divergent, and have talked to another user like this who is similarly affected.

This is one of the reasons I avoid the "new lobby" at all costs -- it likewise overwhelms my brain and makes me miserable.

I don't want to be negative and I've been passionate about BGA for years, personally spending a lot of time and money developing games. I don't know how to properly show the BGA team that those of us on the spectrum are being impacted by this, without seeming to just be people complaining about new things because they're new. :( I hope the player count doesn't suffer since I want BGA to live a long time.

*edit* If it helps, I want to be sure I am offering constructive criticism. Here is one suggestion:

* If we could click a minimize button to hide certain areas of the home page (and remember the setting in browser local storage), it would probably help.
