To customize the CSS, you need to go on the plugins page of your browser, and go to the settings of the extension.

Generally, I am looking for ways to hide all the bloat (so kind kill/hide elements on the page) on the homepage and just retain the boxes with newsfeed, tournaments and service status.
Jellby wrote: 10 July 2024, 13:31 A start:

Code: Select all

.bga-homepage__games-section, .bga-homepage-header, .bga-latest-news__carousel, .bga-discover { display: none; }
I was experimenting with something similar. A screenshot: https://s20.directupload.net/images/240710/8mvhzp88.png

This was a quick attempt, so if anyone is interested in the CSS for personal / Chrome extension use, let me know and I can try to assemble it.
Wow this looks pretty neat.

@tof63 : I'll fiddle around with the settings and see what you cooked. Thanks!

Edit: the only options i see in the settings tab currently are table tracking, hidden games and about. updated extensions already. am i missing something?
You are in the right place, if you have the version 1.9.20 of the extension you should have a new area called "Visible elements on the home page".

Yep, but we are talking about some new settings to customize the home page :)
I will add these settings in this place too in a next version...

GTSchemer gave me some good ideas via chat, so I published a new version with some more options.
Enjoy !

I have once again arrived with another suggestion/request. It might be pretty ridiculous since it's not really a UI/display thing. Anyway, is there any way to overwrite links? Basically what I am looking for is a way to redirect links that would normally take you to the new lobby into the old lobby/tables pages. I guess basically anything with links like https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=x&table=y needs to be replaced with https://boardgamearena.com/table?&table=y&nr=true (or maybe a bit more nuanced? idk)..

Some examples - the play again and propose rematch buttons at the end of a game takes you into the new lobby style page. I'd rather end up back in an old lobby page/table. Or links to turn based created games that aren't full/haven't started yet in the user panel.

Again, apologies if it is outside the scope of this. But since the admin isn't really listening, thought I might as well try asking here.

@buu441 I sent you a private message so we could discuss your idea.
In the meantime I've just released a new version, 908 games are now supported for dark mode!

I pushed a new version with a new parameter that allow to always redirect to the old/classic lobby when possible.
It will be available in a few hours.
It's a beta feature, please let me know if it's works well, if it can be improve, ...

I just installed this for other reasons, but wanted to say I love the feature showing which players still need to make their moves in multiplayer TB. It's a small touch, but a very nice one.
