Diamond level frustrating and annoying

Breezed to diamond, then 3 hours straight with 27 games only twice two wins in a row. And yet people get past diamond somehow?! Am I only now playing all the best players with the best luck somehow?
Frustrating how I get one star most games, rarely 3 or 4, yet seem to always lose all diamond stars every loss(maybe not only once or twice).
Diamond rank has made this game go from fun to a stupid luck fest annoying game.
I thought it would be fun to get to elite rank for the first time in a game, and the previous ranks were fun and fair seeming. Not any more.

Restrict your opponents to +-1 of your level (Play Now, select Arena, then choose the cog symbol besides Cant Stop). This guarantees that you earn/lose approx. the same amount of shields per game.

Cant stop is a luck game thus longer streaks of wins/loses happen. In order to advance a level one needs a 4-5 winning streak (if interrupted by losses you need extra wins). This may take some time.

Can't Stop is mostly just a luck-fest game. That's why no one has a decent rating at it, the highest rated players are only mid 400s despite the sheer volume of players and games played. It's not a coin flip, but the skill ceiling on this game is not the highest.

Yep, very true. Got to elite finally, with some garbage wins over some elite players. After I don't know how many silly games at diamond.

This game should be luck 5/5.

Another ridiculous loss and probably done finally. I've learned that I can't do 6,7,8 more than up 5, but opponents can.. and if they have 4,7,8, that's a sure winner. Lol

Glad I saw this. Got to 9 stars 5 times, yet despite winning next game I did not advance, on multiple occasions. Now I’ve restricted opponents it takes an age to find one!

As to the dice rolls... I'm not sure if they aren't biased against all players against the correct odds. I've had games where the dice fail immediately repeatedly on the highest chance rolls, like 6,7,8, etc. What are the odds of it happening the first time(1 in 12, but then repeat that for each time?) And very rarely do the dice actually so as good or better than the average expected rolls. Confirmation bias or programming?

Currently ranked 19th overall in elite. Still fishy dice but I can out fishy my opponents terrible rolls most of the time. Lol

And update less than an hour later, down to 145th overall. Dice odds that don't even make sense. In an entire game, only once have the odds beat the average.
