I would like to suggest that once a player has selected a number and a color, the confirm button starts a countdown to auto-confirm your selection.
It's too easy to make your selection and then think you are done thus leaving the game hanging longer than you intend before you notice you still need to confirm.
I know I have played other games in BGA the have this sort of setup, but I can't remember which ones to give you a solid example.
