Expansion: Farmers of the Moor

Post by Michaeloffive »

Hello together,

is there a chance that the Expansion: Farmers of the Moor will find it's way to BGA?

Nope, or rather very very very unlikely.

OK thanks for the quick answer.
But why not? Too difficult to make or too less players who want it?

Because I doubt BGA or Lookout will want to invest and pay for the big amount of work needed for probably something not that popular enough to make it worth the investment.

I really wish they would implement this expansion. It makes this great game even better. I know there is a large group of players only playing it with Farmers of the Moor so it is not a niche.

Edit. Removed incorrect information

Personally, I don't the expansion and play it very rarely. I find that it prolongs the games and add additional complexity without adding more fun. The additional decks that are available for both revised and original versions are all that is needed.

It is the revised version of Agricola that is implemented on BGA. The expansion Farmers of the Moor is for the original version of the game and not revised. This alone makes it very unlikely that it will get implemented. Maybe I could see it if the publisher releases it for the revised version.

Personally, I wish they would add this and the 5-6 player expansion. This format is exactly where these variants could take off, especially because people can play turn-based and not worry about the extra time the expansions take!

I'd enjoy the this and the 5-6 player expansion too. Wishful thinking that they'll add it 🤞 the foundation is already laid afterall
