Can someone explain to me, why one cannot give up in tournament as opposed to a regular game when above 50% in progress?
At least in a 1-on-1 game, it is very common that you don't have to play until the very end in real life, but accept that you will loose the game and there is no need to prolong it any more, rather play again. Take chess as an example, they never really play until it's check mate.
So I for example play Bao la Kiswahili here in many round-based tournaments and also here at the end of the game there is often a point where you see, you won't be able to win any more. But due to the round based game it will take another days possibly to finish it.
So again, why do we have this limitation for tournaments?
