I have been watching the news for if or when the summer calendar would be this year (July? August?), or would it happen at all.

But no news announcement, so I just discovered it, several days in.... oh well.

As always, summer / winter event calendars are almost always beta games moved to release -- not brand new games.

I agree. The new layout of the homepage has hidden the event below the fold... I forgot about it, even though I am on BGA daily.
