Spam request to abandon game to cause interface lag and errors for opponent

I've had this abuse of abandon game request to cause my interface to lag and glitch out and become unresponsive causing me to timeout so opponent can get free win in game they are losing. This has happened to me three times now. Seems to be known and deliberate strategy. Is there anything BGA can do to mitigate the potency of this abuse?

Are you sure you're not being asked to abandon the games because you are clearly slow playing them? I just checked out your profile, along with your previous games and you frequently take more than twice the time as the opponent. You are constantly out of time, and your records show that you would likely be a very infuriating player to play with. It is ridiculous that in plenty of your games, you are taking 45+ minutes when your opponents are at 16 minutes.

I suggest switching to turn based games, which should save your reputation and solve your main problem.

I know there's players that want a fast game or faster than fast, blitz or bullet time controls, and if the time controls of the game they are in aren't to their liking they could be dissatisfied and request to abandon game. But when it's near the end of end of game and frequently done as much as possible, and they get the results of lagging out the interface and getting a free win in games they are losing; you have to think it's done maliciously and not in good faith.

If a player declined to abandon the game collectively, the proposer won't be able to make the same proposal for a certain period. I'm not exactly sure how long that period is, but it definitely lasts more than 2 minutes. It's technically impossible to spam the abandon proposal.
