Takenoko. Problem with the irragation sticks

Hi everyone,

I'm new . I have played two games of Takenoko and have had the same problem in both of them. When I put an irrigation stick on the board, it goes there but when I end my turn it dissapears!! I do just the same with the improvements and this doesn't happen. What's the problem?

I had the same thing playing on my iPad. If you double tap/click the spot it will work. It's a little tricky sometimes.
