How long do you wait for an arena no-show?

I had a couple games now where my opponent did not start to play. I assume they did not realize that the game triggered.
I usually wait 2 minutes and try to contact them directly before I expel them. Is there a way to end the game without penalty for anyone?

Yes, use "propose to abandon" the game. But do it after they are already in negative time, so they will auto-accept.

This has been happening to me, too. (And it hasn’t been against you) I don’t know why the notifications don’t work to start sometimes and do in others. I like the abandon the game collectively option more so than kick out but everyone won’t be that nice lol
