Disabling in-game chat

I wish there was an ability to disable in-game chats, specifically for arenas. I am really not interested in the generic spam that gets put in there. Most people don't say anything. They just get on with the match and that's how I like it. But there's always a few who feel the need to say something, make a comment or remark and honestly, it can throw off my game. Plus, seeing the red notification pop up is distracting. I'd rather have it disabled from the start so I don't have to worry about it.
