Hi Frank,

The errors were coming from old tables that were created with old settings that don't exist anymore, but had not yet started. When people tried to start those tables after the update, they were sending server errors, causing the BGA admins to step in and temporarily block table creation while they reached out to us to understand what was happening. As it is, there's no reason to suspect that new tables would cause any issues (indeed, this was tested before deployment as you said, and I am successfully playing a turn-based arena game with the new settings), but all the same we have to wait for the BGA admins to unblock us.

Whether we are waiting because they still have concerns or simply because they have not yet had time to take action, I'm not sure, but I have no doubt they want this resolved just as much as we do

I've been in game development since the late 80's (yes, there were games back in the DOS-days) and this is some of the BEST SUPPORT I've seen in a long time. KUDOS to you, Acerbic.

I had a feeling it must be tied to an update, but I was first thinking my subscription must have lapsed. I think a more verbose explanation, instead of just a restricted message, would help a lot.

I'm still seeing an access restricted error despite new games being created. Is there anything I can do about this or is it unrestricted for only some people?

Unfortunately it looks like we will have to suffer the downtime a bit longer

As I mentioned, new tables are working perfectly fine, but the few remaining pre-change tables were still firing off errors during the last test. We're working on fixing this, but the BGA admins are hard to reach over the weekend and it's not likely anyone will be able to reactivate Agricola before Monday at the earliest.

I'm sorry for the rough transition - please believe that I'm more upset about the downtime than anyone.

I am still seeing "restricted." Is everybody restricted or is it only some? I'm confused by the replies I read.

Just to echo previous post - thanks Acerbic for the excellent updates. Things always go wrong, what matters is how people respond to it!

The last update of the game agricola leads to unexpected failure at server level that need to be investigated, that's why it's currently locked, even if we sometimes temporarly unlock to check the behavior.

I hope this issue would be solved soon, but yes, it's a very specific technical issue we are facing now for this game only.

New set-up appears not to be working unless I'm missing something... all decks enabled, but no cards displayed at game start, and some strange Family-mode type board I haven't seen before where Starting player space has food accumulation (pre-revised edition player here so some of these new setups are unfamiliar to me).
