I didnt know where to put this,

But is that possible that BGA is slow because of open possibilities to write personnal notes on every people playing in here ?

i dont really see what's the purpose of it, but i certainly prefer smooth games compare to hiroshima one's we get sometimes,

No, that has nothing to do with the slowness.

I wouldn't think that had anything to do with the slowness either. But some of us really do use those personal notes. Since I play mostly turn-based, I'm very interested in how well people were keeping up turns and that sort of thing, or I might note when someone was good enough to stay around and finish even though they're totally losing, etc. I make some kind of note on everyone I play with, so when I see their name again I know what my experience was. Those notes show up on the game page for the invites so that I see them. I don't know what other people do with it, but I do use it and love having it there.
