Hanabi IA system.

I was playing hanabi and one of the players left, taking the IA his position.

Usually having a bad IA player can distort the game, but usually it is not a problem if the other players are not injured. However this is not the same in partner/team games.

In this case it was really really obious what should he (the IA) do and also he have both (color and number) clues. In addition in Hanabi there are some "rules" about how to play that most players learn in their first games. I would like to know if there is any way to colaborate and improve the IA behavoir for this game.

Can you describe, in plain english, the rules you would have a zombie player follow in Hanabi? Start with the simplest and most obvious ones, and work up in complexity. Some people might object to convention-based rules like "play left, discard right", which make the bot too predictable in ways that a human player would not be, but you might find consensus about a rule like "if you have fully identified playable cards, play one of them" or "if you have cards with enough information to know they are safe to discard, discard one of them".

Sorry, I had forget this topic. I will try to order the rules from basic to complex, so It would be easier to fix a minimun.

1 If you have a fully identify card (both color and number) and you can play it you do it.
2 If you are clued a card (only one) and it is playable (there is at least a place for this number or color is not complete) you do it.
3 If you have a card you are sure you can discard do it.
4 If you have a clued card and it can be still playable (is a color which is not complete, is a number stil posible to place) don't discard it.
5 If you have a card to play and there is clues remaining don't discard.
6 If you decide to discard a card, discard the oldest one not clued.

-I think that those are the absolute minimun a player should do.

7 If you have a card to play, there are no clues remaining and the player after you have as his oldest not clued card a card with copies remaining play your card.
8 If you are clued more than one card and any of them have complete information and is playable play the newest one.

When I have time I will add some more rules. Feel free to coment or suggest more rules.

e trouve le temps de réflexion court en normal et long en lent . Peut être il y a t'il moyen de le régler afin de ne pas avoir de temps dépasse trop souvent?
