Can`t skip selling aged spirits in the last round

I haven't found a reason for this yet (may be, for the goal scoring), but I can`t skip that. I confirm there was an empty space in the warehouse (I would have to sell otherwise).

We (myself, designer, developer, and alpha testers) had a long conversation about it and couldn't find any possible reason it would be a reasonable move. Since we did have complaints about people forgetting not to sell, we landed on forcing the sale of possible.

It might be worth not selling in order to age one more time.

I found this strange as well. Probably what you would get on money and tile placement would compensate the vp difference from 4 to 5, but it still a legal move.

The only time I could think where an additional (onsold) flavor card would benefit you in the end is if your spirit only had a single flavor card during the final send round, would sell for less than 5 money, and you were unable to get label. If you've somehow found yourself in that situation, you're in a a poor enough state that the 1 vp isn't going to help.

Some of you might not realize that you don't get the 1/3/6/10/15 vp progression for flavor cards during warehouse endgame scoring. Its only 1 vp per flavor card.

I can take out that feature super easily, but I think the situation Sirus just laid out is basically the only one. I do think it would make more people forget to sell than would be saved in sirus' unlikely edge case.

Also, as Sirus pointed out, it's important to know that if you aged from 4 rounds to 5 you'd be dropping *down* from 10 points to 5. You would get 1 pt per flavor, not 15 points with the normal escalation.

I had forgotten that. It's pointless to keep and not sell then.

Hey a points a point. Unless you can make it automatically take this into effect, seems like a good idea to remove.
