Loki`s power "Metamorphosis"

Please, anyone explain me how it works? I`ve played a couple times Loki but could never use this ability.

As far as I remember, when you are attacked and have a suitable own unit in place in an adjacent area, you are asked to perform this power at the top of the screen. I don't quite remember the order in which you are asked to redirect or metamorph. I think you have to skip reddirecting the attack first.

This ability really doesn't work! I checked again, I had allied unit in surrounding area but hadn't choice to use Metamorphosis! Enemie's unit immediately carried out attack to Loki! It's a bug.

Worked well for me last times I tried. Anyways , If you want a bug to be fixed, this is the wrong place to report a bug
