Hi Everyone.

thank you for the effort to put this fantastic game on BGA. That's really great.

I understand after reading some of the post arround the "undo" functionality that it looks quite heavy to implement. Things are what they are.... I understand that this will be a heavy investment in time...

But from my experience, a "save button" at the end of players turn would be a fantastic and major improvment, eliminating a great part of frustration.
I've just quit a game where I miss click on the specific "convert button" for Nevlas (I mixed this button with the real convert button, and there is no undo there... so I just added a supplementary science that I could not use at all...). but I have so many examples like this...

It is not easy to learn that game and it takes a very huge amount of time to test all the various factions, understand the rules, etc.
I thing it took me 20 games (each taking at least 2 to 3 hours in real time, or 1 to 2 month in turn by turn) - that is just .....
Bref, this undo button would most likely allow beginners to understand the game more easily, and eliminate a lot of frustration for any player.

Thanks a lot for reading this and your efforts on this game and this fantastic BGA.

A year has passed, and no UNDO button... :(

Do the developers of BGA ever see the forums?
Are we talking to the air?

There are no "developers of BGA", each game has its own developer. They may be active, or they may have left and never come back. But for bug reports (and feature requests), you should use https://boardgamearena.com/bugs, as stated in the pink banner on top.

The developers not only saw the thread, but even responded to it early on. There haven't been any changes to report since the replies on the first page and the replies on the filed suggestions.

As a general rule, however, the way to make new suggestions to individual game developers is to use the bug and suggestion system, not the community forums.

Hello everybody,
I would like to bring this subject on the agenda on the suggestion of my kind opponents who agreed to abandon a game that I just ruined by a terrible misclick.
In fact, some elements of the page apparently took a while to finish loading, so at the very same moment when I clicked to make my turn, the button jumped up a line and I clicked on PI instead of RL in round 1 as Taklons.
Such accidents could be avoided by a simple confirm button, which I think would satisfy most people who asked for an undo/confirm feature.
From what I read in forums, the lack of such a feature is the main reason why some players prefer other platforms over BGA. Maybe the only one, because otherwise the implementation is quite perfect.

I just had a similar misclick. I am playing a tournament game as Lantids. I have one TS, it is currently round 2, and the round bonus is for PI/AC. I want to upgrade to my PI then go on a Mine spree. I misclick on upgrading to a RL. Not only do I not have the resources after this to upgrade to my PI, I don't even have a TS to upgrade from. Maybe I can salvage something from this, but I don't see how I can be competitive in this game. If this was a regular game it would be one thing, but it's part of a tournament. I leaves me wanting to avoid playing GP on BGA at all.

When I play Lantids, I open quite regularly with RL, so it might not ruin the game completely. But it doesn't matter how bad the result is, misclicks happen, and they even may happen if you pay a lot of attention (as I do). A simple confirmation button, as the one there is already for the conversions, would be sufficient in my opinion.

I already opened R1 with a RL. This was R2, so I now have 2 RL and will have to wait to R3 for a PI. It seems like I have basically lost a round of tempo for moving up the tracks and getting mines out. I'm sure I can still score fine, I just doubt I have a chance to win at this point.

And I'd be more interested in learning how to code a confirmation button myself than going to play somewhere else. I just don't know if that's actually feasible for me or not.
