How about a personal 'hot' games list?

Hi everyone!

Love using this site, and even finding it good for mental health.

Anyway, I thought it might be a good idea if players could tag games as 'hot' or 'want to play', separately from tagging them as favourites. Then e.g. when I clicked 'Play Now', I would see my list of 'hot' games at the top, then my list of favourites (which might include some of my 'hot' games), then 'Suggestions for you', "Games you know', etc. Favourites would become all-time favourites, not necessarily games I want to play soon. So e.g. I would put Distilled on my 'hot' list since I'm enjoying learning it and want to play again when my current game is done. Castles of Burgundy would be in my favourites but not 'hot' because even though it will always be one of my favourite games, I just don't feel like playing right now.

Along with this, there could be a feature that allowed me to see which of my friends has Distilled on their hot list, and I could invite some of them to a game. Or, when I select Distilled then 'Play with Friends', maybe those friends could automatically highlight?

As a premium user, do you use the additional tags that can be seen on the Gams Page? That would at least cover the idea of making additional lists, though not the friends portion.

Do you mean the filters? (Number of players, play time, complexity, etc)
Or game type? (Long game, worker placement, sci-fi)

If there is a way I can add tags, I don't know of it and would like to, thanks!

You can actually make separate lists, not just filters. I wrote a how-to in response to a similar question where I show how I made a list of games "To Try." I'm too sleep deprived to recreate it right now, but you can search my name in Suggestions.
