is "-orama" legal for pan?

It's listed in dictionary, but it's not a natural word

In my opinion, it is legal. It is basically a suffix used for many words, not just panorama.

In my opinion it's not legal. I would argue against any clue that begins or ends with a hyphen. Also, a suffix is not a word.

Rule of cool - it's a unique way to give a clue without putting down multiple words.

So if it's fun, let it happen

I red card those clues all the time.

No. Unless there are multiple candidates of -orama suffix in the list, you're implying 'panorama' already.
And it's a variant of pan (the etymology of the word is pan + -orama).
Also, as others already said, suffix is not a word by itself.

No punctuation is allowed unless it’s part of the word. And while “orama” isn’t a word and is thus really questionable, “-orama” is way out of line.

While it may be a “word” it is truly a suffix and is defined as such. Using the hyphen absolutely defines it as a suffix. The clues given should be one word.
