Oz wrote this in a post elsewhere, there's a WSBG pdf online too, I'm not sure why these enhancements aren't published by those who implement the changers...

Snake Draft"

[Draft is conducted over two rounds, both of which are a snake draft, with players drafting 4 cards in total. The number of cards available is double the number of players +3. The first round is back -> front, front -> back, and the second round front -> back, back -> front. So for 6 player there will be 15 available cards and it will be drafted as follows:

6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st

After the draft is complete, each player discards 1 upgrade, so you end with 3 upgrades as usual.]

Maybe I should write a primer for this (and enhanced turn based mode that has also been added) and ask the mods to sticky it the forum. Though I'm not 100% sure how enhanced turn based even works myself :D.

quick question. are there enough advanced upgrade cards for a 7 player game to do this?

Yes, easily. 7 player snake draft uses 34 cards, there are 62 advanced upgrades, so it works at every player count that currently exists for both basic and advanced.

The draft reveals the exact same number of cards as the base draft at 3 players, and then one more for each additional player over that amount. So at 7p you will see 34 cards as opposed to 30 in the base draft.

I think this would be good. I didn't quite follow how "enhanced" worked, or what it was specifically trying to enhance.

It's very easy : you are just awaken once per turn to make your move. And to make sure you are not cheating by seeing where the previous player land during their turn, their moves are hidden while you select the cards you want to play and then got revealed before you resolve them.

It's dividing a TB game duration by at least 2 !!! So that sounds enhanced to me :)
