I like the idea of the enhanced turn-based mode, in that it will greatly speed up games... But we're going to have to be extra careful about what is revealed in the chats. For spectators, will they only be able to see what happens after the last player's turn?

I think the point was that this information is not easily accessible and labelling something just as enhanced doesn't convey any real meaning, at least not to me. I appreciate you passing on the information, we just need to find a better way to communicate the changes to the players.

If this is about reducing the game time then that is a good thing, if implemented correctly, it perhaps needs better marketing. :)

This is clearly explained when you create a table and select that setting. And it's not advertised yet because it's still in alpha (training mode enforced) to make sure everything works as intended.

Since it's for TB, I dont think it's really needed to handle spectators by having animation of everyone's turn once it's done, but obviously if they cme back later on the table they will see the changes. Basically, everyone is seeing a screenshot of the situation at the beginning of the turn, except the players that already played or the one that is currently playing its turn.

Ok, I didn't know it was a setting until it was mentioned by other players, and I think you described it better than it is here:

"Every player is only awaken once, and all previous players' actions are hidden until they confirm their planification"

In any case, I think a forum post to explain the changes doesn't hurt.
Thanks for implementing the enhancements, I look forward to trying them out.

If I understand correctly, it is not just "intended" for TB but actually only usable in TB ?
So it could be chosen for arena mode but would only be active when playing TB ?

An other idea would be to make it available also in RT but create a third option "improved TB in TB mode" which would precisely allow this to be chosen as an arena mode where improved TB would only be active in TB mode (but still usable in RT mode for regular games for those that wants it).

Thanks for the work anyway, it's a neat idea.

It's only displayed if the table is TB. I believe it could be set up in arena for TB only tables if gurus want it

It also opens up an additional opportunity for team play - a car in front can feed information to a car behind about other's movement, not just their own.

With trusted players, it does make championship tournaments a bit easier though, as they do tend to be tight on time!

That's true, but this game has no support for playing in team anyway so even on the "normal" version, telling someone else what you are going to do during your turn to help him choose his cards during planification would also be cheating.

That's what I meant. Currently you can cheat by telling your "partner" what you are going to do. In the enhanced system you can tell that what others have done, before they pick their cards.
