This site has an average time on the game pages. With the automation of processes on this site, a lot of longer games can be played in 45 minutes.

I'd definitely recommend Stone Age. Hanabi is another good one, although you should put some effort in to learn some strategy before playing with others as it's cooperative. Takenoko is pretty fun/simple.

Troyes I only played once but seems really well done, a bit more complex. Race for the Galaxy/Seasons are popular although I haven't played either.

It really depends on what sort of games you like.
