In a game with no score difference, how is placing determined in a tournament if multiple people get the same result. Had a tournament with multiple people winning the same amount of games, and it's a win/loss game so the score difference is also the same, how does it determine that a particular player is 2nd compared to 3rd?

It sounds like you are talking about a round robin or Swiss tournament (it really helps to identify as much detail about the thing you're asking about). If so, go to the lobby for your tournament and click on the "Show matches" button or scroll to the bottom where the players are ranked. Click on the + sign at the top right of the list, and it will expand to show the tie breakers that were used to distinguish between people who had the same number of wins. In a Swiss tournament, for example, the total wins of your opponents is a tie breaker and the average ELO of your opponents is another.

It's a round robin tournament, but clicking the + just says "Score difference", the player in 3rd has more ELO than the player in 2nd, so I have no idea what it could be.

It can be, like often, linked to the date of registration in BGA. The older wins...
The second is from 2020, the third is from 2023.

This doesn't apply to round robin, but to clarify: in Swiss tournaments the average ELO of the opponents you played is the tiebreaker, not your own ELO. The concept is that if you're tied, but faced higher rated competition in the tournament, you should be ranked higher. But the tie breaker applied before that one is how many wins your opponents had, which measures how well your competition did in this tournament, as opposed to how well the play in general, which ELO somewhat measures.

I never play RR, so I don't know what broke that tie.

Other threads assert that it's not a random draw, but age of account (for example, the post by Menettm a couple of spots above this). See for example:

The frustrating thing is the answer is not anywhere "official." This should not be a secret that has to be deduced. It's not like asking them to divulge their financials.

It's a page I have bookmarked so I can easily get to all my tournaments.

You can also click on your avatar, then click "view all current tables" at the bottom. That will take you to a list (in my opinion, cluttered) that includes tournaments you're in that have started and you're at an active table. But if you are waiting for the next round because you finished your game or have a bye and so you don't have an active table, that second list won't have a link to your tournament, whereas the link about will even if you don't have a table in the tournament you're actively playing.

Hello,
Another question about the round-robin tournament.
What I want is to create an Ark Nova tournament with 14 people, with a new match starting every week for 13 weeks.
But 7 days is a bit short for the duration of a match, in my previous editions of this tournament, many matches ended with a time limit.
So I wanted to create a calendar with a start every week, but a duration limited to 15 days... and that's not possible, and I don't understand why the interface is set up like that!

If I set the dates to “as soon as possible”, all the players' matches will start simultaneously on day 1, obviously no problem for people to play 13 games at the same time BUT if I set a date less than 15 days after the first round, causing 2 games to overlap, an error appears saying it's too short... it's absurd...
