Detailed scoring and stats to help learn would be so cool

Post by Phoxtrot »

I don't see this happening but it would be very cool so I'm talking about it anyway.

1) I would love a very detailed scoring at the end of the game.
It would go like this :
  • 1 column per player
  • For each player, you would get, each combo played from top (first played) to bottom (last played).
For each combo for each player, you would have:
  • Name of the people and power, possibly with icons
  • VP paid and gained in buying the combo
  • Number of turns where the combo was active (at end of your turn)
  • Points gained while the combo was active. (Possibly itemized in one row like "7 + 5 + 2 = 14" if the combo was active 3 turns and gave 7/5/2 points each round)
  • Number of turns where the combo was in decline(at end of your turn)
  • Points gained while the combo was in decline (similar display as when active but in a separate row)
This would help see how everyone made points and help learn the strategic ropes.

---------------------------------
2) Combo stats

It would be nice at some point to have some combo stats like how many VPs people are paying on average for each people, power and people/power combo

I agree with this. In addition I would like to see the scoring summarized by round for each player.

Just piggybacking on what these two already said. I'm having a hard time understanding what I did wrong and what my opponent did right with the current end of game scoring and stats summary for small world. I would love to know round by round where all the points came from, active and decline so I can understand the nuance better.

Hey, I think this is a great idea and you should definitely open a suggestion for the devs: https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=2016

However, I'm not entirely sure what you're suggesting is entirely achievable with the current end-game stats system.
Devs might have to design an entire thing popping up at the end of the game.

Thanks for this post, I would up vote a dev suggestion for more detailed scoring.
