Time allowed on new games - even beta

Five Tribes - a game well known for needing time to think. But this is a problem for almost all new games. Please stop assigning some default average and either allow a little extra time until an average can be worked out or give it a little more thought based on the game. Time violations are frustrating to all. Honestly, I work hard to avoid them and if they happen unjustly due to a setting being inadequate, I lose interest and simply concede the game. How is that helpful. Please give some thought to this.
