Change "elo" setting?

I notice a lot of frustation with newer players getting mixed with more expierenced. Is it possible to set this up like The Crew where some of the elo is based on number of games played etc and then the option to limit players to the expierence level people want to play with?

Unfortunately, matchmaking is not game-based, but is the same for all BGA games (with a difference between cooperative and competitive games).

To avoid too much difference between players' experience, you can just:
- filter by ELO (but as you said, this is not really accurate)
- specify on your table that you want players to know a certain convention, or add a custom message to explain it (but not many players pay attention to this )
- manually filter the players with too few games played on your table (which requires you to be very quick before the game starts)
- get a higher ELO (there are less new players with "Strong player" or "Expert" rank)
- add the players you like to play with as friends, or create a group to make it easier for them to join your game.

The Crew has a way to filter by ELO this one does not. and Quite frankly havent figured out how it caculates elo- the crew is just number of games played
