For 1912 how would you rank the blue tickets including new one such as Pamplona-Kiev, London-Sochi, etc.?
Im coming back here after months of playing Mega Europe exclusively. Before talking about the new routes I need to restate what I suggested a few posts above.
On Mega Europe Edinburgh-Athens jumps from not just becoming good, but transforming into the best route. London and Athens get so many new routes that Ed-Ath ends up absorbing 3-4 routes. Its insane.
About the new routes, they are not that easy to rank, but I can state they are subpar to the main 6.
On paper Pamplona-Kiev seems like a dream, composed of double routes and 4-train tracks, a new Brest-Petrograd. In reality, I barely pick it up. It does a terrible job blending with other routes. The opposite of Ed-At.
On that same paper, Riga-Brindisi looks awful, being short and going though Central Europe. It doesnt really blends with a lot of new routes. However, it does have the advantage of being stealthy. In most games you are being left alone. Its very luck based on getting good routes but its not a bad choice.
Essen-Angora shouldnt be a blue route. Its completely absorbed by Copenhagen-Erzurum, that being said, it does the job of blending with other routes like the original (Berlin-Wien, a mid-priority route in Vanilla mode, becomes high commodity in Mega Europe). Avoiding the LGBT train is a big plus. It might be the best of the expansion routes.
The other 3 routes are almost the same. If I had to rank them I would but London-Sochi last as that pink Dieppe-London is the first claim in half of all games (because Ed-At will always be claimed). Paris-Sevastopol is a bit better than Amsterdam-Kharkov
