Arena and Skunk Points

Arena season 19 settings still shows as ‘best of 3’ which I think means best of three games, yet the season change mentions points for skunking. If I win the first two games each by one point have I won the match, or is a third game played, and if my opponent skunks me for two points are we now tied?

Or is it now ‘first to 3 points’?

It is best of three, with skunking worth 2 games. So getting skunked will immediately lose you the match, since your opponent gets credit for 2 wins. In your example, you would win the match after winning each of the first 2 games.

So it’s really “first to two points”, either win two 1pt games, or win one 2pt or one 3pt games through skunking.
