Am I missing something ?

I Played a game with Space Penguin and evolutions activated.
In the game I used Deep dive at the start and picked High altitude bombing. We all lost 3 lives and I assumed it was in the discard
Then on what was supposed to be my last move I used Miraculous catch and was expecting to see High altitude bombing again in the discard pile but it wasn't there.
Did I understand something wrong with those cards/evolution ?

Checked your replay - Miraculous catch lets you randomly take one of the cards from the discard pile. At that point in your game, there were 2 cards in the discard, the high altitude bombing and commuter train, which your opponent purchased. You happened to draw the commuter train with miraculous catch. Would've happened 50% of the time

Thank you for your answer, I didn't read the evolution carefuly enough, I was expecting to chose in the discard to be honest

But I just played a game that again didn't go as i expected with that exact same evolution...
I played an action card early in the game, so on the next turn I activated miraculous catch and got to play the action card a second time.
But I was expecting the card to be available again on every turn as I could not find a rule saying that the action card go anywhere else than in discard after I played it second time.
On my next turn, the game said the discard pile was empty. Is it normal ?

The text of Deep Dive specifically says to put the rejected cards on the bottom of the deck once you are done, not in the Discard pile. I assume that the chosen card is also being put on the bottom of the deck, when it is a Discard card. You could argue this is a bug, and it should go on the Discard pile. Not really sure.
