Without promising anything specific, that is the goal -- to have an advanced player setup option which allows loading a specific (base game tile) map layout, and presetting the factions + speaker. It should give the most flexibility without requiring FFG to approve specific variants.

Quick update: All steps in the status phase have been implemented. The agenda phase will take some design with all the voting mechanics, so I am not expecting to update until November.

Right, we might as well just automate all votes to "yes". What could go wrong? ;)

As a reminder, no players are yet being added to the private alpha group.

We clearly work at the same workplace as certain decisions where I work have had a similar mindset :)

Quick November 1 note:

The agenda phase is functional, meaning the entire game can be played (missing lots of effects like most action cards and technologies). However, I am still finishing some edge case handling, like when CORE MINING comes up for a vote, but no player controls a hazardous planet.

Private alpha invites are still NOT ready.
