This is done on boiteajeux.net: http://www.boiteajeux.net/forum/viewtop ... 68&t=14853

This is an option which is only available to "premium" users.

You know, that's actually a good idea. I have no issue with supporting users having some kind of extra things they get, but it has always annoyed the h*** out of me that we can't even see our own ELO if we aren't a supporting user. Makes me feel like they're holding my own information hostage until I pay them something.

Allowing a choice of color is a nice incentive for supporting members, without taking what I'd consider essentials away from non-supporting. (Of course, they still have to program it, which they may not have time to do.)

I love the way Yucata.de handles player colors. If I choose green, I get green and the other players are assigned a random color, but only on my screen. Another player may also choose green and, on their screen, I will appear to be playing yellow. That way each player can choose whatever color he or she wants, even if someone else chooses that color.

That's a good idea. But if one day it comes to birth, Libertalia game should not be concerned. In this game, colors give different decks, so random must prevail
