There should be a oportunity to report user, that always leaves games!

Today I played Catan with someone who hat a 3 percent reputation. Okay, really bad choice, but I thought, it might be because of bad internet conncections or whatever, so I gave it a try. As soon as me and the third player hat 4 points and he had still 3, he left the game and started a new one...

I gave a red thumbs, but I thought also, he should be reported, because you can clearly see in his statistics how often he is acting like that. But there were no opportunities to report because "he allready got punished" with karma points. But this doesn't keep him from playing like that.
As for me, I'd prefer an option to report for the reason that someone is allways leaving games earlier he cannot win... so the page runners can take a closer look at the user. At least for users whose reputation is lower than 20 percent I think, this might be a good thing.

It's even worse than that, by leaving early they get to penalize everyone else because you only get points for an arbitrary "game completion" percentage instead of full credit for the win against them. I agree that there should be a way to report these players, karma is a joke, something else should be used to handle them, but I also think the system itself should be removing this incentive for players to sue quitting as a weapon as well.

And what do you want to happen to them when you report them? Do you want their info to show that they quit a lot of games? Or should they get a hit on their reputation? So others can see and decide if they want to play with them or not?

A 1 day ban as a warning, next time a 2 day ban, then a 4 day ban, then 8....

You can't get to 3% based on a bad internet connection alone. 70%? Sure. But after being expelled a couple times when your connection times out, it's incumbent upon the user to stop playing real-time games. So when someone keeps playing despite knowing they have an iffy connection at the moment, it's no longer a connection problem but a people problem.

There should be an optional filter when creating games that lets you block players who don't have a certain amount of karma points.

So for instance, if I set it at 50% I'd be assured that all players were on at least 50% karma and have a reasonable chance nobody would rage quit. It would also add a great incentive for players to maintain their karma scores and gives them actual value.

There is. You can filter to 50%, 65%, 75% or 85% levels under Restrict Table Access on the right in the old lobby. In the new lobby, use the little green door, also on the right, but limits are only 50 and 75 (though 50 is there twice, so that MIGHT be the 65% level?).

I totally agree. Bann *** leaves at last second when i'm at 9 and about to win. Did this twice to me
