Etiquette around fixing bugs in a premium game

Post by ShaPhi7 »

I want to start fixing bugs in Love Letter. I have played the game a lot so I know it well, and have developed a game from scratch for BGA before. I have a couple of weeks of spare time to fill.

Am I able to just checkout the code and start working on it or is there more to it?
How do I take charge of the bugs/suggestions list to start triaging and closing the non-bugs?
How does testing a deployment work for premium games that are currently live?

For the game that have no maintainer active (I think it's the case for this one, the best is to request maintainer access through Studio support. You will test on the official project on Studio, and if you're confident enough in your fixes, it will go directly to production, but we'll ask you to keep a look at bugs in case there is a glitch ;)
