The Winner of the Spiel des Jahres is expanding! The Turbulence expansion is now live with 6 new scenarios (and there are more on the way!). On the agenda for your next landings: Terrible weather conditions and technical glitches. In addition to new destinations, the expansion introduces new rules and new modules, such as Turbulence, Low Visibility, and Alarms, that will add depth and diversity to your favourite game. Hang on to your seats… It is going to be a bumpy ride!
Sky Team just got a whole lot better on BGA, not only is the expansion now available but we’ve also released a bunch of improvements and features for you to enjoy.
Sky Team: Turbulence
Sky Team introduces 6 new scenarios (more coming soon) alongside new modules and altitude tracks.

New modules:
Alarms: in this module alarms get activated and certain action spaces will be unavailable until the alarm is reset by placing the correct die value on the alarm board.
Total trust: if the total trust symbol is in the current position of the approach track the Startegy Discussion phase is skipped.
Altitudes: new altitude tracks are introduced that will bring even more challenges:
- Turbulence: every time you place a die, you have to re-roll all your remaining dice. Planning will not be as easy…
- Bad Visibility: at the start of the round you only have 2 dice to place, your other 2 dice are put aside. The next two times you place a die you will take one die you put aside previously. You never have more than 2 dice to choose from every turn.
- Not enough? You can also have Turbulence + Bad Visibility…
TER, WAW and NZIR scenarios: introduce scenario specific challenges like stuck landing gears, engine loss or penguins….?
Sky Team 2.0 on BGA
Besides brand new content you can enjoy various new improvements and features:
Safe Mode

A long-requested Improvement has now landed. With Safe Mode enabled (default), the game will ask for confirmation when making inefficient moves or moves that result in failures.
New table option: Permanent Total Trust
A feature a lot of experienced pilots were asking for. Only Recommended for experienced Pilots and Turn-Based Tables. This is not the intended way to play the game and this can impact the experience and difficulty. Play the scenario with Total Trust (first introduced in Turbulence) enabled in all rounds, this will skip the Strategy Phase each round.
Flight Log

Check your logs, find your next destination and beat them all. The Flight Log is accessible from within the game and tracks not only your own Sky Team flight record, but also your teams. See how many wins/losses you’ve achieved on the scenario’s you’ve played. Still haven’t beat that though scenario? You can also view the progress of your (co-)pilot so you can attempt it together. Are you the first to complete all scenarios?
Speed Indicator

You no longer need to calculate your speed, the speed indicator (green) tracks your speed so you know exactly how many spaces the approach track will get moved.
New Preferences Menu
Quick access for various preferences including the new Safe Mode. We’ve also introduced new background textures (including a thematic storm background).
Revamped Welcome Screen

Fixed bugs:
- #119158: make approach track planes smaller when 4 or more in a slot, so they don't block crucial info. Hovering over the planes will make them transparent.
- #123866: Engine Loss module, you can no longer skip the mandatory placement on axis.
- #113881: Intern help dialog now correctly states the allowed values.
- #119898: Incorrect score for Budapest Yellow
- #139991: "Scenario Yellow: ATL - Atlanta wrong description"
