To Prelude or Not to Prelude

3p is not the most popular format, the hit cards are pointless in 3p but makes all the senses in 2p matches since it's a fully zero sum setting. Awards are all or nothing instead of king making in 3p. Once you are reached certain skill level, you won't bother wasting time in 3p games. 2p matches are for the true masters of the game. You have to understand, most players like you never competed with real top players, especially in online settings.
The live tournament "champions?" I saw their plays, they have no chance of competing with people online. 3p is still cute, I play it right?

I am trying to level up players here as fast as I can before the steam community rolling in here for 2p matches and destroy the rankings. I don't have time to be nice, you guys just need to learn and play, don't worry about anything else.

"I don't have time to be nice" is something bullies say. It shouldn't take any extra time to not sound condescending. You choose to come across that way. And this way, even if your messages are correct, they are much harder to swallow. People don't want to learn from bullies.

Generally the top players from the Steam ecosystem (which has been around for years and is very mature) and the tournament scene play 2p with preludes almost exclusively, so you won't see them in arena too much until the settings change. But generally 2p with preludes is considered the highest skill cap format and best for competitive play.

Once you reach 1800+ elo in the steam app, 2p prelude became a different game for you. Every decision with prelude is also more dynamic with tempo acceleration.
