Question Regarding Disappearing Players from Leaderboard

I recently notice that some players no longer appear in the leaderboard rankings (for example pluka, ex #1). Are there any recent changes or criteria affecting player visibility in the rankings?

The "All time" leaderboard is not really all time, only those who played at least some (ranked?) game in the past 2 months or so appear in it.

Thanks for your answer but this is not what I meant: I am referring specifically to @pluka who played last week and was still top3 or so and suddenly completely disappeared in the leaderboard as if he was banned.
